What if you’ve got naturally sparse brows or you’ve fallen victim to over-pluckage (90s child? Say aye). Well now there’s a solution. We all went cray for eyelash extensions when they became a thing but now we’ve discovered the holy grail of transformative beauty treatments. Say hello to eyebrow extensions. Cara D prepare to brow in the presence of our greatness.
Brows just keep getting bigger. Fact. So what’s a girl to do if she hasn’t been blessed with a thick and bushy brow game? If that’s you, we’ve got some seriously good news.
The new treatment applies individual hairs to fill in gaps and extend the brow line to create volume and texture similar to that of natural eyebrows.
Very fine individual hairs are placed carefully across the brow line and applied with a transparent adhesive that’s water resistant, flexible and comfortable. No more harsh lines and powder smudges.
Need to know info!
First up we had some must-ask questions for the Lash Perfect team.
Can anyone have eyebrow extensions?
The only people who cannot have brow extensions are people taking any form of topical or oral steroid medication or anyone undergoing cancer treatment.
Once a cancer patient has finished treatment they’re able to have brow extensions. People who suffer from alopecia can also have the treatment, as long as they have not been recently diagnosed.
How long do they last?
If they are attached to existing brow hairs they can last up to 10 days and if attached to the skin they can last up to 5 days.
How should you care for your brows afterwards?
The extensions need to be kept dry for 24 hours and you’ll need to avoid all heat or steam treatments for 48 hours. All oily products must be avoided on and around the extensions as this could reduce their lifespan. You must not pick or brush the extensions and make sure you return to a professional if you wish to have them removed.
Can you wear brow pencil/shadow/gel with them?
You can use an oil free powder to help maintain the extensions when you begin to lose them. This should be patted into the brows and not brushed on.
What kind of look can be achieved with eyebrow extensions?
Most looks can be achieved with the extensions but we always advise clients to work with their natural brow shape as every person is different and your face is not always symmetrical. We like to say your eyebrows are sisters not twins!
Eyebrow Extensions Review: Before And After

My brows are naturally quite fair and spacey when I don’t fill them in, hence why I commit to a rigid brow routine in the AM. But all that filling in, blending and correcting your mistakes when you get carried away? A girl could do without the aggro.
The treatment was really relaxing and therapeutic – I actually dozed off a couple of times. The beautician did one brow at a time so I could see what shape they were taking on and the whole treatment lasted about 40 minutes (with some mandatory gossiping in between).
As you can see from the before and after pictures the overall effect looked a little too much when applied to my existing hair. I felt the shape was too heavy and ‘scouse brow’ for my taste and compared to what I was used to doing myself. They say no one does your makeup like you do!
I’m sure a lot of clients would have been happy to leave the salon rocking such a strong brow game but for me it was just a little too TOWIE for a seaside Brighton gal.
However, I would thoroughly recommend it as you’ll definitely achieve shape and texture with this treatment. Likewise, if you’re going on holiday for a week and want to ditch the brow pencil then you might want to trial brow extensions before you go away.
The treatments is available in various colours to suit every hair type.
